Registration Information
To register for the 5K run/walk, fill out the form online. Registration starts at 8:00 am.
Your chip must be picked up Saturday morning prior to race at registration table.
Awards
In addition to the overall Male and Female finishing awards, the top 3 in each of these classes will be presented with an award: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Brief Description
At 9am, join us for a scenic 5k run or walk winding through downtown, around the ponds, and up and down the hills of Middleton, and ending at the brewery. In addition to various kinds of fruit at the end of the event, the Middleton High School Key Club will be selling subs for a reasonable price. Then head to the Good Neighbor Festival for more food and fun!
Youth Activities
If you have a family with young kids, then this is the year for you to participate in the Middleton Good Neighbor Festival 5K Run/Walk! It will be a fun-filled morning on Sat., August 25th at the Capital Brewery with activities for toddlers and up. The regular run/walk begins at 9:00 a.m. with the Youth 1K starting at 9:45. Kids ages 6 -12 years will be led by an instructor around the block on the sidewalk. Each participant will get a completion ribbon/medal or prize. There will be a toddler “Diaper Dash” and obstacle course with chalk and bubbles from 9:15-10:30, also led by staff from Harbor Athletic Club’s Youth Fitness program. At least one parent or caretaker will need to be present at the toddler activities. No pre-registration is needed for the youth or toddler activities. The youth run and its activities are free thanks to our generous sponsors listed below.
Additional Information
You can pick up your number and shirt early at Fleet Feet Sports Madison, 8440 Old Sauk Rd, on August 24th from 4pm-6pm. Online registration will close on August 22th at 11:59pm. You can register at Fleet Feet Sports Madison or onsite at the race after August 22th. For additional information about the race, please email BSSDMiller@aol.com.
